Re: Alternative Stripes on Black Car

I always liked the silver stripes on the black cars. The 88-90 cars had a silver stripe option and it was on the lower part near the GFX. The 85-87 cars had one also but since the silver was on top...

Re: Some '85, yellow IROC, updates.....

I had that same experience. A PDR place quoted me $130 for a nickel sized ding on a daily. Saying they’d have to remove the door panel and it was in a bad spot. Said OK I’ll think about it. Called...

Re: What is your idea of the "ultimate" 3rd gen? In other words, the Holy grail?

The 87 350 IROC-Z that I own, an 89 1LE IROC-Z maybe with the 305/M5, and an 83 Z28 H.O. M5. I'd probably take a 350 or 305/M5 Formula and GTA too, both G92, but that's down the list some.

Awesome pictures and beautiful car Z28cop!

Also so nice to see the last 87 Camaro, just wish they'd put the GFX on!

Re: The 92nd Camaro of 1983

Goodness! Except for no T-Tops and a few options, that car is just like the 83 Z28 my Uncle bought new when I was a kid which got me into Thirds and Camaros originally. My favorite early Third Gen...

Re: Barn Find IROC on E-Bay

Very nice! My car was probably built very close on the line to this one. Like Rich, I believe it's the real deal. My car's paint is the same and my switches are like that also. ;)

Re: Muscle Car performance comparison

Those cars were all overrated in power and perception and ours underrated in both. They were rated in gross power. The thing is they were easy to make faster and cheap to mod. They were considered...

Re: 4.3 mile IROC-Z on eBay - UPDATE

Agreed!

You know, alot of people will bash the car as a big model, but we need cars like this. Most Thirds have been driven plenty and there's enough out there to still do that with if you want....

Re: 3rd gen representative for Camaro collection?

It's OK because it's sorta history and I wanna play! Except I'm using multiple choices and an explanation lol.

1st: 67/68/69 Z28 or 69 ZL1
2nd: 70 1/2 Z28 and 77 Z28
3rd: 87 350 IROC-Z28, 83...

Re: 1987 IROC-Z 5.7 TPI with T-tops

Ah, makes more sense now. What an epic score. That's the condition mine was when I got it. Still pretty much the same, but I had to do the exhaust at least and a few other little things. :)

Re: Third Gen testing with Sixth Gen
