Hi Roy,

no other specific forum of third generation club in the U.K. that I know of. The problem in the U.K. now is finding a car. 20 years ago it was easy but a lot of them have disappeared...

As jlarsson said, just go with standard us sized plates and craigsplates can produce metal ones for you that fit in the stock location.

Motobooks,

In most European countries the mirrors are required to be able to fold back instead of being fixed. Cars imported to the UK are llowed to keep their original mirrors.

Just to update this thread, I can confirm that the problem has been resolved. A dodgey passenger side front caliper was causing problems fully bleeding the system without removing all of the air...

The pads have a couple of hundred miles on them. The car has not been driven since as the guy working on it is on holiday. I hope to have a stiffer prop valve spring next week to give that a...

Does anyone know if the master cylinders were the same for all brake options? I know that the prop valves were different but is the master on a disc/drum setup the same as one on a disc/disc setup?
