on a 9 inch wheel, you could technically go wider if there is something available... up to a 275 or so.

check out rock solid motorsport cages. i think they are already notched and everything. at least do an 8.50 cage so you can go faster than a 10.0..... with 1500 whp, you could probably go faster that...

i would at bare minimum do a 10 point. it can still be somewhat not obvious while still giving the car structural integrity. thats 7 second 1/4 power.

uhh... nitro cars absolutely need a strong ignition, and they run magnetos. they are not firing from the compression, they are on the verge of hydro locking.

it was my understanding the gen 1 had a pretty good leg up over the gen 3 stuff as far as fire ring failures. simply due to having more bolts per cylinder on the gen 1.
