The pump in my wiper motor is shot. How can I wire in the later remote/tank mounted pump to the factory wiring & switch? I don't want to add any switches. Anyone done this that could add some insight?

Took me forever to get my trans out and back in again (driveways suck) but yep, that was the problem. Clutch works great now! But the starter seized up from sitting. sigh.

The 4 speed was 82 only except for some 4 cylinder 1983 cars. It was not optional in 83 for the V6 or V8.

Seems the snout is hitting the bellhousing where I circled before the bolts can line up.

Well, I figured it out. Answer was right there in the first post. My fork was wrong. When I bought my bellhousing, this is what the guy was using. But looking at the pics you can see it wasn't riding...

jmd, thanks for the post! I just kept getting "swap to the hydraulic" as a reply on facebook groups.

So the fork is most likely correct, even though I can't find much for this part number?...

You know, after some googling I think I answered my own question. Why on earth do I have a 70's 4 speed fork?? That's what was sold to me as being correct for the 83 but 5014090 doesn't come up with...

Looks like the secondaries are slightly larger. Once I get the carb back from the rebuild I'll line the spacer up under it and see if the holes line up with the bores!...
