What are idle RPMs for the 3.1 V6?

My 92 RS with 3.1 V6 idles around 1000-1100 RPMs when fully warmed up. Starts around 1800-2000 when cold. Isn't the idle RPM a bit high? It is a stick shift.

Re: What's the lexan t-top thickness?

I don't want to sand the t-tops down to 1/32". :-) Will just cover them with a vinyl wrap. There are too many cracks and imperfections which show especially from the inside. Don't think mine are...

Re: What's the lexan t-top thickness?

My Camaro is a very low budget build so I can't spend hundreds on a new plastic. But good to know that they are available just in case.

I have tried to sand the t-tops but I think mine are too far...

What's the lexan t-top thickness?

My lexan (plastic) t-tops are so weathered that I will most likely have to sand tons of material down just to get the oxidation off. This followed by progressive sanding, polishing and clear coat. I...

Re: Is anybody running any of those budget ($100-$120) tires?

I just wanted to give an update. I went with the SureDrive tires from Firestone. They look decent, are inexpensive, ride good (only did about 3 miles on them so far). Definitely not better looking or...

Re: Is anybody running any of those budget ($100-$120) tires?

Re: Delco radio ejects tape - need help

Thanks. I may be slowly giving up on the radio. I already spent $30 on the capacitors and $16 on belts. That's about a price of a new Jensen MP3 radio with Bluetooth.
