Maybe.....but they were $400 heads.... and if they last 2 seasons.....and they make big power.....then so what? At that point the combo is sorted out, the weak links are found, and its being driven....

Nobody said they were a "race only" head..... the implication is for your average Joe, who isn't looking for, or can afford a maximum effort motor, there may be better choices then the almighty AFR....
