Re: Which tools for spark plug change 1987 TPI

I felt for a little update in this thread as I renewed the plugs in my car the other day. In the meantime I've bought me a Quick Jack lift and this helps out a lot doing the plugs. The number 7 one...

Re: 305TPI stutters/jerks/hiccups during cruising.

After all my DIY-wrenching I realized I didn’t want to throw in a lot of new parts without knowing what the culprit is. So I bit the lemon and paid an hour labour at my local american-car shop. Well...

Your problem sounds much like my 87 350 TPI behaves at the moment, which has a vacuum leak. In my case the intake manifold gasket. I’m about to order parts this weekend.

Fellow Norwegian too...

Re: New to me 1987 GTA - Advice

If the original rear calipers are still present, check them for function and also the e-brake. They need to be used regularly, often and hard to be in shape.

Re: Will renew intake manifold gasket - what other parts do I order?

Thanks a lot, I'm likeminded about "ain't broke - don't fix it". Injectors though, aren't easy for DIYer like me to diagnose for future problems, so I find it natural to replace them since I must...
