Plastidip it on there, then you can just peel it off if you don't like it anymore.

Re: Steering wheel compatability/ pic request

Might have to sand some off the back of the steering wheel. I had to remove about 1/16inch off the back of a 85 base model wheel to fit on my 92's airbag column. Otherwise it bolts right up.

Re: Better ride with 225/55R16 in front?

The sidewall will stay the same size, and it will ride softer and shouldn't wander as bad on the highway. Though technically, your handling will be just a little worse because you won't have quite as...

Re: Do you think this would sound nice?

I don't know what they're talking about. It'll sound really good, unless its a 2.8, then it'll only sound good if you keep it under 3000rpm.

Re: how many miles on your V6? (poll)

Mines somewhere around 213,000, and its (most likely) the original engine. I think its got a small oil leak on the back of the motor, and a lifter ticks, but all together its a good engine - though...

If I'm not mistaken, the POR-15 instructions say that a freshly sandblasted surface is excellent for adhesion. They have instructions on their website for "people who don't read instructions"

Whatever you use, make sure it's automotive grade and even better a 2k (e.g. has a catalyst/hardener).
