You can buy weight and spring kits for your governor. pull your governor out and put heavier weights in it, that will make it shift sooner as long as you dont have any transmission issues. kits are...

straighten out the tab then loosen the bolt. theres a lot of room for adjustment. you may also need to put a body shim or two between the fender and mounting point. your fender is probably bowed out...

So I assume your cutting off the map pocket, obviously. How are you attaching the pod to the door panel ? Is there enough depth in the pod to mount the 6.5 without altering the inner sheetmetal ????

That's probably your power antenna motor. Most likely someone cut the power wire when the plastic broke inside the antenna.

Your in the correct spot.

You should have 2 adapters that thread onto the hard lines then onto your braided lines. Do you have the adapters?

Yes, the 96.8" Im sure you could use other sizes. Just has to be long enough. I personally am using a 98.0" and it works fine.

Not true. I pulled off my pump and used the same belt. The belt is routed differnt than from factory. Not sure if it works for your tbi but it works for my tpi serpentine. search on tgo for the belt...

The latch should move freely with lots of adjustment when bolts are loosened. I doubt that is your problem since im assuming it was aligned before the problem. Being the latch was difficult to...
