They are just thrown on the car to show you. When I installed them they were fully seated in the bar.

They went back and forth with me about me having c&c tops. I eventually ended up emailing them a picture of my. Build sheet to prove that I dont. Really frustrating situation.

Turns out it was egr related. Sort of. I had the egr mounted and it wouldn't run, so I took it off and put on a block off plate. Turns out the block off plate wasn't tightened down all the way so...

I had it running fine and everything but then had to pull the motor and trans for several unrelated issues.

Now that I have it all back...

shift into reverse-good
Shift into overdrive- feel it shift but doesn’t move.

When I drive it, unless I'm at wide open throttle, It takes forever to shift...

I took apart the lg4 in my 1985 z28 to put in new headgaskets, valve seals, and what not. My lifters got all mixed up in the process.

I have read that it's best to replace the cam and lifters.

Make sure the honeycomb isn't upside down! I did that when reinstalling my front end. The protruding lip on the honeycomb should be on the topside.


Edit: Sorry I noticed you still had the issue...

I'm not too sure what they're off of, but the passenger side piece lines up fine and I believe they're from the same car....

Yes, the 3 digit codes will tell you. There is or was an rpo decoder on this site. The vin alone will tell you if it's a base model or not though I believe.
