it was the hoses. both front brake hoses were clogged. all good now, except it died and won't start. it's either the coil or the ignition module.

thanks for the help guys, i'm probably gonna need...

89 firebird 2.8 MPFI was sitting for a few years and we got it running. had her out on the road the other night and it was going good. it was sluggish from stop, but ran good when it got up to speed....

livin in MPLS, got me my 89 bird. rebuilt 2.8L MPFI, rebuilt in a machine shop on gasoline alley in indianapolis. 106,xxx on the odometer, less than 10K on the rebuild. not a looker yet, no pix, but...

bled the cyhlinder. filled it with fluid, bled the back. tried the front and... NOTHING! my beautiful car, ready to drive, is sitting on a jack because i got's no brakes. ugh

yeah, we made good and sure of all that. it was on, but in our fidgeting today, it went off. no brake light, back drum brakes bled just fine, but those darned front...

well, we already put a new caliper on the right, and loosened the bleeder nuts and still no fluid. then, we tried using some manual bleeder kit, and still nothing, even on the brand new caliper....
