Gauge lighting dimmer issue.

My gauges lighting would not turn off. I replaced the headlight switch and same issue. After digging through wiring I disconnected my Radio, then I tried the dimmer then and it worked perfectly fine...

You haft to switch the pins around in the pigtail...

You haft to switch the pins around in the pigtail for the h4 pinout but it's easy and then they go right in.

I'm wondering that too. It hafts to go to there or maybe a wire off the headlight switch. All the diagrams just show it as battery hot but doesn't say where it gets Its battery power.
