Re: Quadrajet E4ME Carburetor

Update:

N/G,...... The carb I had stole some parts from was a NON-ECM Quadrajet carb.

Re: Quadrajet E4ME Carburetor

I've still got a ECM carb 'core' from an automatic. It had to come from a running car or it would have been tossed. It's been sitting on a shelf for a long time now so I would add the disclaimer that it's a "core that needs a rebuild". Looked like that one was just missing the electric choke.

If you can't find just the Air Horn and can't find a decent core locally - feel free to check back with me.

Re: Quadrajet E4ME Carburetor

I have a 1984 ElCamino LG4 carb that might have a salvagable airhorn. I converted the car to a M4ME Q-Jet and mechanical advance HEI after the P.O. hacked up the ccc wiring. You can have the whole carb for $15.00. I have not dissasembled the carb and really have not had time to mess with it. The car is a complete rust bucket beater with a 1985 LB9 converted to a Q-Jet, 70s cast iron manifolds, and a TH350 so no desire to fix the CCC system. Would also accept a cold 12 pack of Coors Light in exchange for it if you feel like bartering.
