I haven't done the swap myself, yet, but I know of a member who has and I believe the controller used was from TCI, with a favorable report from the car owner. The car flat hauls the mail.

Use a crankshaft 'socket' that engages the woodruff key on the crank snout...it's really easy to shear the bolt (BAD NEWS) trying to turn a tight motor...btdt.
