Re: 700R4 question

Nope, you'll be fine. You'd have to remove the valve body, etc.....to access any check balls.

Re: Remote Fan Cooled Transmission Cooler location

Front of the car....is the most effective. With a fan you can run it in back or underneath, as longs as there's some sort of airflow.

Okay, just took a look at it. it's Open Loop AFR Ratio % Change vs Coolant Temp.

Re: IAC opening AF 20+:1

I believe it's Open Loop% of Change vs Coolant Temp. I'll have to look on my tuning laptop to see how much.

I had been chasing high revs for many years, no amount of tuning could fix the issue. The IAC did what it wanted to.

I simply blocked off the passage to my IAC, adjusted my throttle blades to...

Re: 18” Rocket Racing wheels

IMHO the back spacing is to much on both of them. They'll probably sit too far under the car.

However, it depends on what look you're going for.

Re: Wiring harness routing on TPI

You'll be fine. Just make sure they're wrapped in some kind of heat shield protection.

Been running my wires that way for 10yrs now, tightly wrapped with electrical tape. Have had no problems.

Re: 87 GTA T/A TPI NO START - Losing my mind

Unless I missed this. When you you put the ADS prom back in, does it run?

Also, check your plugs. Fouled out plugs from too much fuel, will cause a no start or a rough initial run.

Re: 700r4. Does this work???

Yes, that video is if you're going to use a simple 12v toggle switch to activate, or 12v continuous.

The brake switch is tied into your ignition and has 12v when the car is on. It disengages while...

Re: 700r4. Does this work???

The brake switch can have one 12v wire that goes to the TCC. When you brake, the (normally closed) switch opens, which disengages the converter clutch so the car doesn't stall.

But it could depend...

Yes, rocker studs are bolted on from the top. You should be able to use a deep socket to remove.

Re: 700R4 Vibration after replacing 3-4 clutches

Ok, gotcha. Well since the vibration wasn't there before replacing the clutches, I doubt that's it. I'll probably start with pulling it, and re-clocking the converter on the input shaft. Something...
