That would be the story of the company for decades. The issues with head gaskets in the 60* series engines, the oil starvation in the quad4 (LD9) family. All things that would be easily fixed.

i would go with shop 2 for their approach alone. as to the cam i am going to use the l31 with its factory cam for now in mine. its l98 power with 87 octane requirements. teh vortec heads will get teh...

build a frame around the truck bed, 2 posts on each side nailed together and a cross beam with a come along. lift it up and drive the truck out. Been there myself

Orr, thanks for the help so far. It's a t5 for now. Looking at selling my 00 z28 a4 to buy more parts for this. Seems odd but I like the third gen better.

Right now I can stay stock piston etc on...

Thanks for the feedback. What would be a good cam/ rocker combo for this? Once again looking mild idle to 5500, I assume I will need a new prom regardless so that isn't as much of a concern.
