Re: Gatorback deposit poll

All I know is that Kelsey has had a pair of my tires since May/June of 2013 and we’re still hoping for something that they have no realistic goal of producing.

Also, for what it’s worth, their...

Re: Hood latch - painted or unpainted ??

That was my understanding as well, however, that alleged 3k mile GTA is a VN car with black cowl and painted latch; that’s why this discussion started there

Re: 1987 GTA f/s less than 3,000 miles -not mine

I have had 5 myself; just did the same looking through pics - all natural, except for my old ‘86 IROC (which I know for a fact was repainted) - I even found a picture of a friend’s old ‘88 Formula,...

Re: 1987 GTA f/s less than 3,000 miles -not mine

I looked back at the 87 for sale; 11th digit of the VIN looks to be “L” not “N”; that makes it a Van Nuys car like Scott said.

Initially, I thought it was Norwood based on the black cowl;...

Interesting... mine is not (also a Norwood 87, like the link), nor are the front latch bolts red

Re: 1987 GTA f/s less than 3,000 miles -not mine

I’ve seen that ad floating around; the filthy wheels and Kumho tires bother me on an alleged 3k mi car.

Edit: so does the painted hood latch

Re: 1989 IROC 344 original miles

I normally don’t get involved in arguments like this either, but ev305tpi stated this extremely well. Lots of cars are repainted; many are even repainted well. That being said, this is 100%...

Re: If they still offered 245/50/16 Gatorbacks, would you buy them?

The bottom line here is this:

-Anyone who daily drives a thirdgen, and has complaints about the Gatorback’s performance (or lack of performance) isn’t going to spend the money on these anyway...
