pretty much the kit i used was a combination of metal tube with rubber couplers, i didnt use a couple pieces due to the difference in the engine compartments, its 4 inch though, so it should be over...

i also ran the tpi snorkel intake with my lq9 for a time, but felt it was holding me back after my initial dyno, so i installed a gto cold air intake, id be curious to see if my suspicions were right...

a buddy had a twin disc rst? in a cobra he had , super light peddle and crazy grip , but man that thing could be a pain to install the trans if the discs and pilot weren't perfectly aligned haha but...

congrats man, my 10 bolt began to whine louder and louder after the ls swap and mine is n/a, the 9 bolts are more robust, but with your power level its on borrowed time lol :burnout:. i lucked out...

my currie is setup to use the explorer brakes and the flanges are horizontal (90 degrees rotated from how artics are) and mine uses the large tapered bearing (i think its called torino style)

arctic is it just me or are the axle flanges rotated 90 degrees on your rear end?? is that done for a reason ?? never seen that before haha. just curious

yea i only drove it a little before removing the driveshaft, but it would seem clutch work at low speed would be critical to keeping everything smooth, I'm sure with some time and practice i will get...

yea thats what i have come to realize, i need to have the dive shaft legnthed about and inch (probably due to the motor mount plates for the ls swap) as i only have about and inch of the driveshaft...

here is the video ... you notice the pinion moves very little but i can rotate the tires a good bit and this "play" is transmitted throught the driveline when your on or off the throttle especially...

the howards asa cam only has .525 lift the 228r i believe is 585 ??? thats off the top of my head so im not sure, i liked the fact that i could use ls6 springs which are cheap. the rest of the specs...

the 4.8 will prolly make similar hp numbers, but torque will be down a good bit especially down low, my 4.8 with an ls1 cam loved to rev but felt "soft" under 3000 rpm ... but im curious to see what...

Im using the stock 411 pcm that i reflashed with hptuners.. and had a local tuner do a dyno tune on fix some small driveabilty issues with the cam
the headers are the ebay ones i believe...

LS1 fbody exhaust manifold kit for ls swap

hey guys have this leftover from my ls swap , I'm not sure what year they are off but the have EGR provisions, i painted them black with ceramic paint but i never put them on the engine so the paint...
