The TBI unit is not installed on the motor. I'm using a Holley 4150 carb and a Mallory 4309 regulator. I just spoke to a Mallory tech and he stated I need a return line equal to or larger than the...

stock TBI pump. stock hardlines to engine bay. stock rubber flexlines to the regulator. I cut the connectors plus few inches off the stock hardlines that go to and from the TBI and had them flared...

can anyone explain this one? first off I swapped a holley 4150 for TBI, used a Mallory 4309 FPR with stock in-tank pump. when I set the pressure to anything over 4 psi the pressure gauge needle...

yeah, there was still some oil left in the pan so they definitly ran it before it shipped. but I bought it second hand from a guy who never ended up using it and I just don't know how long it's been...

OK here's the story: I know this mechanic who lets me use one of his bays with a lift and all his tools for what I think is cheap money. I use it for big jobs that I don't want to do in my driveway....

swapping in a ZZ4 and am going to use a new flywheel. GM offers two options for our cars - standard weight 25lb came of L03 cars and light weight 16lb came of TPI cars. I originally have the 25# one....

sorry for the confusion - this carb stuff is all new to me. Do I need one of those in-line fuel filters by the carb? or is the stock one by the gas tank enough?

so GM used a 750 to get the highest rated HP/TQ numbers, and that is also what they recommend. But I'd probabbly be better off on the street with something smaller? I think I'll go with the 650DP...

I just read the ZZ4 installation manual, and confirmed GM recommends a 750 vacuum or mechanical secondary carb. If I go with a 650 will I be holding the motor back much? I assume I'll have better...

no problems here. I have the Eibach Pro kit too. it rubbed a little on the inner fender lining after lowering, but that went away after the alignment. no rubbing on the struts though.

It's true. The bearing is mounted in a sort of rubber biscuit. And yes, that is why people go with the billet or steel mounts that have solid bearings in them. No deflection.
