10LB NX bottle FS

This has been sitting around for a few years and I want it gone. Can't really ship it, still has stuff in it. So would prefer pick up (I'd drive a bit and meet as well). Looking for 125.

Edit:...

Re: what type gas do you use?

If the car runs fine on 87, switching to a higher octane won't make any difference.

Re: Fuel pressure gauge--best place to install?

The pressure at the main body of the regulator is going to be the same as what's getting put into the carb. You can place the pressure gauge off the main body of the regulator just fine.

Re: Intake Mani questions

The Performer intake from Edel (off my head, I think it's 2104). Fits your years and it's carb pad is drilled for both square and spreadbore.

Re: Cheap 350 Build

The difference is the exhaust crossover. Your 400 probably had that. When the engine is cold, exhaust gets run through the crossover, which is directly under the plenum. This heats the plenum...

Re: 1:6 rockers?

1.6's will be fine on a stock setup. No clearance issues. All that factory equipment was way to small. Handful of HP gain.

Cam swaps aren't a walk in the park, depending on what tools you...

Re: flipped 92 Z28 now wont run

If you just want to hear it run and don't want to delve into a powerless fuel pump issue, you could jump the ALDL and power it directly.

Re: Camshaft replacement

Why would you put the original cam back in?

So long as you're careful while removing the cam as to not knick the bearings, they can be reused.

Yes, you'll need new lifters.

Re: Confused...engine question

305 and 350's are V8's. The 3.1L (as opposed to the 5.0L for the 305 and the 5.7L for the 350) is a V6. You have 6 cylinders. The other 2 have 8.

Whatever the sticker under the hood says, is the stock setting (I honestly forgot what it is, been forever since I've messed with a stock engine). That's at idle, with the vacuum advance unhooked.

Re: Cheap / easy cam upgrade for a 305?

What kind of fuel pump are you using? LT1 cams don't have fuel pump eccentrics. But I do agree, the LT1 cam would be a nice upgrade.

I have an SB2. I run dry sump and valve spring oilers for increased oil flow up top. I'm not limiting oil flow over the valve springs when it's the only thing keeping them cool.

Re: 083 or 187 heads

The 187's would "work" on the 350, as in bolt on, move air, and whatnot. But, being the 305 swirlies, I don't know how prudent of an idea it would be. I would keep looking for a different set of...

Re: In need of assistance

Don't buy random parts hoping you'll fix the issue. Parts stores can test ignition modules. Pull your existing one and bring it. Have it tested, if it fails, THEN buy a new one.

Re: new cam question?

The 1107 has too much lift for factory castings, you'll be hitting the bottom of the retainer into to the top of the guide bosses. About .470-.480 is the max number on stock heads.
