Hell, GM still uses thirdgens for test mules. They were using one back in 19. Probably testing a crate motor. I guess GM likes testing different powertrains in em.

Murray 7-3231 is listed as a parallel flow condenser. So, yes it should be. Share's the same part number as the Spectra one. I don't think it's made by Spectra though because iirc the Spectra ones...

I went to O'reillys and had to special order a condenser a couple weeks ago. It took like 3 or 4 days for the store to get it, but I did get it. It cost me about $115ish after shipping and tax.

The EO number itself wasn’t the issue. That checked out fine. The issue I was having is that the smog places said they didn’t have any way to confirm that those were the same headers the EO number...

I’d recommend you finding a reputable carb shop and have the one already on the car rebuilt. I know there were many different variations of the Quadrajet (even for thirdgens) so at least you’ll know...

Correct. You don't want old gas that might have rust and other gross stuff in it being sent to the injectors. Hope we'll see it running soon!

Okay, first thing, I personally wouldn't pull that distributor out. There could be a hundred reasons why it may not start and we can probably safely assume the timing will be good enough to get it...

From my research they all bolt up and clip in just fine, just the other dimensions are slightly off. Off enough that a trained eye could tell it's a repro.
