Keep it around 1 inch drop or a little more depending on the springs u decide. You will regret any more. I bought two cars with two inch drops and brought them both back up. Makes for some bad...

Alot of the aftermarket heavier duty clutches are alot stiffer and in traffic quite painful on the knees

85 trans am heater core

So heater core went. From what I gather dash does not have to come out for firebird/trans am. Will I need to change hoses or could keep the ones on? Is it a hard job?

Magnaflow all the way. And won't rot out like flowmaster. Bought a 96 trans am with the flowmaster cat back. Took it off right away for the magnaflow and a definite better raspy sound. Flowmaster...

I wouldnt add a bunch of butt connectors. Solder and heat wrap every wire one at a time. Time consuming but cleaner and alot better in the long run

Heater core leaking

So my heater core crapped out. Coolant all over the carpet. If I don't use the fan will it still leak? Its an 85 trans am. Want to just store it once returned from paint shop

Drip edge is whats needed. Ttop weatherstrip can be done late. I got mine at hawks. A 100 bucks for both or near there. Shop around contact the manufacturers. Replace the worse and go from there

Cars at garage getting new suspension installed. I'm gonna give them ****. It cracked the fan shroud too. Nothing to be scared of structure wise? It looks more esthetic

Oem is best. Hard to find now. Soft seal or metro are others. I prefer the softwr metro. Soft seal tends to be stiffer.

So I have an 85 trans am. Just bought a 95 firebird. Has a 6 speed lt1 and 4.11 rear. Awesome running car but got a smoking deal as parts car. So the original 3.42 gears were replaced for 4.11...
