The temp gauge went all the way up. I can't remember what it maxes out at but it went there I shut it off and the motor smoking.

I ran the car for about 10 15 minutes today and it was over heating. I have a mechanical gauge so I know it works and its brand new. The temp was 220ish

Well good news, the solenoid on the starter was bad like I was thinking. Just went ahead and bought a new starter and solenoid put it on and it fires up like a champ! Thanks for all the help!👍

Took the battery out and went to advance auto where they fully charged the battery and tested it. It came back bad. 325 cranking out of 650 and 13.7 volts.

Scanner is a snap on scanner. MT2500STKA. And yes I have tried a good battery and it worked. My voltmeter reads about 12 to 13 volts from the alternator.

So I could check the timing because the car won't start at all. I pulled the spark plugs and they were covered in gas. I also scanned it and I got a MAF sensor code.

I think the timing is set at 0 but I'm not sure I'll check that tomorrow. And I'll check the fuel pressure as well. That should be around 45 pounds of pressure right?
