best metal polish ive used is blue magic.... Ive used it to get plastic headlight lenses back to clear as well... after sanding with high grit sandpaper of course.... cleaned up the front markers on...

man... i get like 25+ in my old 305 tpi on the highway.. even in a big diesel like that 50-60 should not be a problem with the right tuning, and no mileage drop when ya go into the mountains because...

actually i had the jegs page for em open already at the time- thats their prices for them.. i know you can get em cheaper on ebay and what not but there ya go.

i actuall had already considered that, i may not have a welder but i can cut the tubing myself but the ride would be significantly more rough with solid arms and it would cost much more than the 30...

thank you man, i does mean anything to hear that. I had read that boxing w/poly bushings improved things a lot which is why i bought the bushings a decade ago in the first place, Its the difference...

the poly bushings were bought more than ten years ago, around the same time the poor car was garaged, i am not wanting to box my arms simply because i have already spent the money on the poly...

my buddy is a welder and works at his family owned race shop, only wants 30 for the job but he's gonna do all the work and make the work look clean, would not look much different that a boxed...

thats a perfect example of different definitions of quiet... I love the sound but they are far from quiet like i am sayin, dont know what a couple of em would sound like but the ones i heard that...

sounds counter-intuitive i know but I like the idea of having my car be at least mostly quiet and whatever sound that does come out sound nice, I'd want to install cut-outs for when i am in the mood...

get a new intake manifold because your stock TPI manifold wont bolt up. scoggin dickey makes one for around 400 bucks.
