About the only thing that retained its shape was the fiberglass trunk. But even the spoiler on it broke. Both frame rails have a bend in them and the spare tire absorbed a lot of the impact.

GM in their infinite wisdom only offered a 5.7 with t-tops with in 1989 and I believe in 1987 for export only. Why?, well that I don't have the answer to that, more than likely it was to piss us off....
