Just because the parts are new these days does not always mean they work. I would start to look at components inside the distributer.

This happened to me once and it was the horn relay was stuck on. Someone before me had cut the wire to the horn. Just a thought acted just like this. Good luck finding the draw.

I noticed the difference right away when I installed my connectors. Tightened up the body and the feel in the corners is noticeable.

Camaro is the same. no need to remove dash. If you would have read a bit more of the Forum might have saved you some work.

By running a file over the flat surface you will be able to tell if it is warped. The sand paper will not show warping. If you use paper put it in a sanding block.

The sending unit is probable leaking but with a flashlight and a mirror you might be able to see for sure.

Can be casting sand and rust all jammed in there. Not 100 percent but is a something to check.

The block and water pump could be clean but debris can jam in the tubes of radiator. The only way to fix that is to take radiator apart and rod the tubes. or new radiator.

When I do this type of repair I always fill the block up. I put coolant back in the opening were the thermostat goes. Then put the thermostat back in.rookie mistake, FORGOT TO LOOK AT DATE STAMP.
