Not sure if you found your problem but it could also be a bad contact on those terminals make sure they are tight on there. Battery cables should not wiggle.

I do actually. Swapped the intake for the 4 bbl Holley and I can tell you it was well worth it. Alot more bang, headers added more power. I still have the old intake and carb thrown in the backyard.
