Ok i was just about to ask that, lol thats a nice way to put it. I took it off and it purred like a kitten. Right at 800 rpm's and amazing throttle response. Just couldnt drive it cause it sputtered...

i took off the airflow sensor and the car ran good no crazy idle and no high rpms do you think i should get a new one.

ouch 1,800 for that motor wont work well on a poor mans budget. I think im just going to make this into a nice looking cruiser. If i want to go fast ill just jump on my fully restored 1984 kawasaki...

What would cause the 2.8 to idle back and fourth from 2000 to 1000 rpms. The engine slowly climes to 2000 and drops to 1500 or 1000.

Previous owner ragged on it pretty badly. Its going to need to be rebuilt if i keep this one.

The only other thing is that the engine is high mileage and needs to be replaced sooner or later, im either looking at just building a new 2.8 with some basic performance enhancements like cams,...

I just bought this, the engine is a little rough but other than that there is not too much rust and the interior is mint except for the seats. The body kit is in good condition, the back is deformed...

Thank you, I'll go get a air dam right away. The fan does work i noticed it today. I drove it to my dads house and it didnt overheat so maybe the thermostat was blocked.

Anyways the plugs still...

there is no air dam and ill look at the fan today, if i remember correctly it does turn on.
