Well, that's where it is on my 92 RS with 5.0 TBI engine. If you don't have one there I believe I have a spare one around somewhere. And Yep, that's exactly what it looks like

I got a bulb from Super Bright LEDs for this. Works fine and doesn't melt the spot on the lens that usually is burnt looking. Went to their site and easily found listings for all of our bulbs....

Thanks, I think I'm going to try this one out. If it's too thin it should still work as a pattern for thicker stock and definitely better than what I have now

Yeah, it probably is the solenoid getting hot. Did you use a metal shield that you bought or made one? Is that better than any of the insulating wraps I've seen advertised, do you knom?

It just clicks when I've been driving for a decent while when the weather is hot. I've read about others here having that problem and replacing that wire is suggested. I'm just wondering how far back...

Somebody probably wired both fans to come on off the switch. Primary fan is supposed to be actuated by the computer that uses the CTS to tell it what temp the engine water is. If that is not working...

As I previously mentioned, it's under the fuel vapor canister which can be seen from under the car. It's mounted to the bottom side of the sheet metal that the canister is mounted on the top of.....

The ball is actually right under the fuel vapor cannister which is shown right under the air intake duct

That part is generally referred to as the CTS as in coolant temperature sensor. Gives input to the computer for many functions

TBI parts should be the same for those years with serpentine belts EGR valves and solenoids are different though. Good luck with the solenoid, hard to find

If the seal on the shaft is worn out and leaking oil that could be burning and smoking as the clutch slips on the shaft. Is the smoke coming off the pulley or is the pulley really hot? Just an idea...
