ok, my fault, misunderstood, and do you have a timing tab set up near the crank? if so what you can do is get like a silver paint marker, or something bright, mark the timing mark on the balancer so...

not in the tank, check your fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter. make sure the fuel pump is actually pumping and try and see if your lines could be clogged. how did you realize you are losing...

If you are talking about the resistor in your key that can make all the difference, your ignition is designed to respond to the exact resistor in your key, if one you put in is just slightly off it...

and to reply to the paper clip trick, all you need to do is jump the A and B pins in the ALDL and turn your ignition to run and the dummy light will flash the code in sequence.

i was having this issue a little when i rebuilt mine, come to find out it was my injector fuse in the interior fuse box, does it sound like a V8 or does it sound like it has no power?

The FI BTL 15 is cheaper than the 2 twelves thats why i chose that. I could just get one twelve but i just figured id get 1 15 instead.

So if i was to do one 15 FI BTL should i still get a second battery? or just stick with an HO alternator and a Big 3 upgrade? if i need a second battery how do i wire it in and where should i put it?

as and edit to my earlier post about the alternator being a vbelt i wasnt thinking either and my system is a half v half serp. its got a serp running the water pump alt. and crank( of course) then...

and thats just getting bigger guaged wire? and you mean angling basically as just angling them forward like what most people have? do you possibly have a pic of the box u had for ur 12 FI?

I planned on getting an H.O alternator and a better amp wiring kit, a sundown amp and then either 2 12 btls or just 1 15.... so you say its plenty loud, could u compare it to something? Cause there...

i have not yet burpedthe system, but i have figured out that my upper hose is piping hot, but my lower is only warm.... its not the water pump is it? caus it is still getting hot so i know its...

Average is 60mph, but thats only for 15 min tops then i shut the engine off. But its a stop and go plus highway i guess. But now that you mentioned the leaves, i think the previous owner added...

Wheres the chevy orange?? ha but i cleaned and painted mine the same way and itll prob peel in a few inconspicuous spots, but i did not prime mine though, the shop i had do the flushing, honing, etc...

So i just quickly looked at my fuse box and it seems that Im missing a 10amp fuse that goes into the slot thats labels FP/Inj2..... thats def the problem isnt it??

YEah go with Alpine. or even pioneer, i have the newer Pioneer Premier H/Us and its nice, only $220. has the ipod hook ups you want and its an easy deck to navigate.

Ha yes i put flat tappet lifters on a flat tappet cam. And i talked to a local chevy god in town and he said it might be that my cat is clogged or collapsed or something and that might be causing it...
