Re: Avoid 5 Star Engine Exchange

I had my 355 Short Block built by Standard Machine, I am very happy with it. Unfortunately I am pretty sure they are no longer in business though.

Re: My Mishimoto Radiator is junk

Just want to make sure I understand correctly. You have to pay $30 to get a replacement radiator for one that failed? If that is the case I wouldn't be giving them an A+ on customer service.

Re: Smell removal

So Far so good on the odor bomb. No more smoke smell. Although it sounds like it might not be that effective for your rodent issue.

Re: TPiS MiniRam Owners, experiences wanted.

I think that is a fair price with injectors, TB with sensors, and the EGR kit. Is that the Fbody or Vette thermostat housing?

Re: GPS Speedo Sender with 7730 ECM

Re: GPS Speedo Sender with 7730 ECM

I didn't have anything hooked up to read the ecm. The car was stumbling on decel/coming to a stop, so I know the ECM wasn't getting a signal just by the behavior of the IAC.

Re: GPS Speedo Sender with 7730 ECM

Tuned Performance,

So from what I understand the GPS unit puts out a squarewave signal. I assume that will not work for the required sinewave signal the ECM wants from the VSS.

Will that work...

Re: GPS Speedo Sender with 7730 ECM

I haven't done this yet, hoping to start my M6 swap in March.

You are correct, there will be no signal from the tranny, the ECM would receive the input directly from the GPS module.
