89&84 Firebirds for sale .

I've fallen on hard times and need to sell my bird and the wife's bird . Mine is the blue 89 v6 manual and the wife's is the black 84 v6 automatic . Neither are running at the moment . Asking $3000...

ice_man sounds good and should sound better without the wind . RubberDucky the stock sounds ok but a lot of us like a little more sound .

Do you lose any coolant ? If so you may have a cracked head or blown head gasket letting exhaust gases into your coolant and causing the overheating even if you don't lose coolant . With all you have...

Those will work but be sure to get new o-rings for your car as the o-rings for those injectors will not seal to your intake or fuel rail properly .

I was just looking on Ebay and found a air check valve new and the line for the manifold that the valve attaches to . The pipe is a Standard Motor Products AT113 and the check valve is a GM 22040897...

The part you have tape on is for the air to be pumped into the exhaust manifold from the air pump . Your fuel filter is in the carb on the drivers side at the bottom of the carb next to the choke ....

Just an FYI the Ranger and Bronco II 2.9's and the non turbo 4 cyl , the straight 6 , 3.0 ? , and the low out put 5.0 are said to run the same injectors . Do a search for injectors on Google or what...

Stock injectors are around 15#s so these will not work even with your turbo IIRC the max I have heard of on here with a turbo is in the 20's or 30's #hr rate with tons of boost and mods . Do a search...

Check your TPS if it is bad or going bad you can have a problem like you have of not being able to give it gas and it will stumble and want to die or just bog down real bad .

Every 2.8 I've owned I put 4.5 quarts in no matter what filter but to be safe I would put 4 in and add as needed .

But if you clamp the return line and pressure doesn't drop then that piece of rubber hose isn't the problem the fuel is bypassing the regulator somehow causeing the pressure to drop off like it is ....

I remove the whole headlight assembly but the electric motors stay inplace . I have seen the electric motor removed without takeing the whole assembly out but it takes just as long to do it like that...

Like I said before I have hard starts and the pressure falls on me when I shut it off or after it primes and when I can get to do it I am going to take apart my regulator and see why it isn't holding...

Have you tried clamping the return line closed to see if it holds pressure ? My car does this and it is the 2.8 but it will hold pressure when I clamp my return closed . I think something is wrong...
