Im not really worried about the stock lq4 block. Those things can take a beating prepped right. Buddy of mine is running a 88mm turbo on his with 1200ish fwhp and a pile of miles and it is just fine....

It measures out at 5" long. At its narrowest point, it is 1.6 in diameter. Its also 1.8 at the widest point. Hope that helps.

I had the same issue with mine. Ended up being two pins in the connector were not locking properly in the connector pushing the pins out just right to give issues. Put new pins in and its been fine...

I can tell you that just swapping the trannys, you can reuse the same driveshaft. Dont remember if the moser 12 bolt requires a shorter driveshaft though. Hope that helps.
