Holley HP EFI Conversion

Hi all!

I'm planning to swap my old 165 ecm with an Holley HP Efi kit.
Has someone already done it with his TPI 3rdgen?

At the moment I'm not sure about what I need to keep or have to reuse , for example the AC or the electric fans.

Any ideas?

And another question: Will the wiring harness which comes with Holley's kit be long enough for the ecm to be mounted where the original one was? I'd like to keep it as stock looking as possible.

greetings from Germany

Alex

Re: Holley HP EFI Conversion

The harness is more than long enough, almost enough to put in the front seat. Mine only controls the fans and fuel pump besides the motor. I know you can set up in the I/O config for the ac stuff, but you may need to change how the switches work to work properly. That part I am unsure of.

Re: Holley HP EFI Conversion

Sounds good so far. Looks I'll just take a day off next week and start to rip out the stock tpi harness and some relays.

I'm ordering a Aeromotive Stealth 340 fuel pump, hopefully it can be powered by the wire from the Holley ECM and doesn't draw too much power from it.

I'll try to take as much pictures as possible. Maybe this helps others in the future.
