I replaced them in my ‘88 a few tears ago and just today replaced them in my ‘89 I picked up a few weeks ago. I got them from Amazon. The pins need to be slightly bent out to match the light sockets...

Totally agree “I prefer 88-89 because they have the updated rims/decals but still have the 80s steering wheel and don’t have the yellow “90s” gauges”.

Believe me, if I didn't do this, I would of thought the same thing. I just couldn't bring myself to buy the velour set from all the other places. I also did mine in blue stitching to match the color...

Fabric is from SMS auto upolstry
2 1/2 yards per set of the patterned. $89/yard
Probably 3 yards or so of the plain. $79/yard

The material was difficult to find, they had it, then they didn't. I'm glad I spent the money and time to do it right. I really wanted to keep it original looking.

Tamraz. I think Trim Parts made the carpet. Actually ended up selling it to my Upolstery guy for just a few bucks less than what I paid. So it worked out ok for me. I bought the seat foam from them...

Carpet 3rd gen to 4th gen

I bought a carpet for my 3rd gen but I don't like it. Doesn't match original heel pads. And was wondering if I could put it in my 4th gen? Not really needing to have original interior in that one.
