Not sure how youll be able to put a new converter, shift kit and servo in your 5 speed trans....

Id start with free mods, then full exhaust, gears .... then see what you want to do from there

Dont pry. Whole daspad comes out. 4 screws around the defrost vent (I hold a magnet so i dont drop them), and a couple underneath the front lip.

Unlike camaros, firebirds have less room on the drivers side with that plastic air duct underneath it. I would try taking a heat gun to it, warm it up, and try to form it down a bit to give more...

Try taking that bulkhead connector apart, and make sure its clean and theres no corrosion? I think its a 7mm or 8mm sized bolt that holds them on.

no de-lamination on the grid. No scratches. I polished them and they came out looking real nice. Yes they will fit, a GTA is a Trans AM. I also include the wiring harness so they will light up...

corvettes use IRS rear ends so putting one in would require a bit of fabrication. I have a 1989 3.27 9 bolt rear end with aluminum PBR calipers for sale. Im located in NJ near philadelphia.

Up for sale are Edelbrock TES headers. Both headers and Y-pipe were Jet-Hot coated (Sterling1300) finish. The AIR tubes are cut off and welded shut as you can see in the pictures below.

Don't cut a hole. It takes about a hour for me to drop my fuel tank.

Once you get the rear out of the way and the exhaust moved over enough the tank can easily come out.
