KYB gas adjust rear and G2 KYB struts are a good choice for a daily driver and won't break the bank.

Trans fluid coming out of dipstick tube.

Started up the IROC today and have trans fluid coming out of the dipstick tube. I'm thinking maybe a vent is plugged? What should I check?

I have KYB on my IROC, gas a just and G2 struts. I'm pretty happy with them and you can't beat the price. But I have to tell you the Koni yellow$ are always on my mind.

I just finished rebuilding mine not too long ago. I learned that the caliper piston has to be screwed in not compressed to get new pads to fit. There is a special caliper tool to do this.

Passanger side caliper is in front, drivers side caliper is in rear. Both sides take the same part number caliper.

Rear is at 28 1/2 with 1/2 a coil removed and gas a just KYB shocks.

I'm doing my a arm bushings as well. Amazon has the energy bushings for under 30.00.They also have the moog and fed mogul parts front end parts at good prices!

E brake is on mounts. Works like a drum brake against the inside of the rotor. Rotor has a small drum built into the back of it that acts as the e brake. Pretty good idea.

Big brake upgrade.

Have desided to do a big brake upgrade on the IROC. Doing both front and rear with parts from BBU. Want to get started as I am taking the spindles off to redo my front suspension right now.

New rear disc pads won't fit

Bought new disc brake pads for front and rear both have the same part number. Front went on fine, rear pads fit in the calipers but will not fit over the rotor. Any ideas ?

Edit: Problem solved - The metal ring from the old seal was jammed in the caliper where the new seal needed to go. A week of looking around for why the seal would not fit was fixed with a small flat...

Contacted Centric and found 14362008 to be the correct rear caliper rebuild kit# from them. Also work well for the iron rear caliper.
