that's right your car came with 15 's . 3:73 and a 26 inch circumference tire make a nice strip setup. should be able to finish the end of the quarter at about 5500 to 6000 rpm's.

get someone to turn off the vats in your chip.....not that hard to do....then just get new ignition switch and key or locksmith can make you a key.

no cam is going to keep your hp. down... had 383 hsr with 083 heads very well ported.... was able to get in the 12.5s....still no match for a good set of aftermarket heads..

in 1992 ran 13.76@101 mph with underdrive pulley, cat back exhaust, airfoil and slicks.
low 1.8x 60'. doesn't take alot of mods to make an l98 respectable.

when we are racing I can pull no. 1 and no.2 plugs in about 1 minute after shutting down. my fans cool those cylinders very fast. might be they are cooling from the fan

check your push rod holes in the cylinder head for clearance. might need a little enlarging and yes guide plates

when you change your timing you must let the computer know the correct timing.

my guess is still the exhaust....joeblue picked up .048 with his exhaust uncapped. that's approx. 45 to 50 ponies which would put easily at 380+.

I have dual cutouts on my exhaust with nowhere close to the goodies you have.
gain 3 tenths and 3mph with them open. exhaust is 3 inch flowmaster with no cats.
my guess it's the exhaust.
