yeah im not totallu sure on the redline it probably is like 6200 but the guy who had the motor before me said he had it all the way up to 7 before i got it, he had a different cam and heads to...

the motor hasnt even been started yet im putting it in rite now im thinking it will redline at 7000 and the cam is 227 intake and 241 exhaust at .50 lift

I agree with 86white_T/A305 the new mustang is pretty fast and i really dont like mustangs ether. Hell thats one of the reasons why im putting a 427 in my car lol

I thing the 82 would pull it off its a little bit lighter than the 89 and it sounds like you have a pretty good motor in that 82 LT1 where only like 285HP and 345TQ stock if i remeber correctly

yeah thats the downside to carb fuel mileage but it shudnt but that much harder to use the ram air your gona have a pretty quick camaro when it happens you gona use it as a daily driver to?

The desk top dyno isnt all that bad i do agree that it wont get you exactly what the engine is putting out but mine has been within 10HP and 10TQ of when i took i to the dyno

ok i was gona say you could try the carb intake from edelbrock ive heard good things about them and you wouldnt have to run as many wires to. thats what i was going to do to my camaro but money...

Yeah i know they mite be a lil but you shud be pretty close to 400 atleast i have a desktop dyno here to if you could give me the intake Centerline, LSA, and the lift at the cam lobe i cud tell you...

I would say aroun 425 to 450 horses and 450TQ. My buddy has a similar set up with a lil smaller cam hes is only around 460 lift on both exhaust and intake he mad 384HP and 423TQ when we went to the...

Both are real good engines you can find them in junksyards all over the place. do you plan on using the factory fuel injection from 5.3 or 6.0?
