Re: Confusion: which oil pump drive shaft?

That's the type of shaft I have only I have the ARP one and the sleeve (that's what they call it on the website) doesn't have the pin in it, it is free to rotate. Usually I just drop it down the...

Hi All, I have built an engine using a Dart SHP block, AFR heads etc., the block is a 400 with 350 mains. The document for the block says it uses a standard 350 oil pump drive shaft but the shaft I...

I've run a hundred shot on a 305 many times. Headers, intake, Holley 600, 13.3@107. I didn't have any suspension mods like you so you should be able to use the MPH.

Re: To de-screen or not to de-screen a MAF

It depends on why you want to de-screen it. If your engine needs more air then you need a bigger diameter MAF. It is unlikely that removing the screen will increase the air flow that much if your...

Re: MAF or Speed Density? Which is better?

Re: MAF or Speed Density? Which is better?

If your engine is near stock or doesn't have a big cam then MAF is probably easier to tune. If you have a big cam then reversion can upset the air-flow meter and give the wrong fuelling. Speed...

Yeah if you do the numbers you will find 3" is a little light, dual 3" or 4" is better. You should be pushing over 550 with that setup.

Re: 700R4 Leaking Fluid & Over Revving

It could be the front pump seal that is causing the leak and it could be that the lack of oil is causing the slipping etc, but it sounds like the transmission is smoked to me. It may be rebuild time....

The most common cause is the screws as has been pointed out by other posters, on mine though it was the lower bearing that had disintegrated.
