Looks very nice i quite like it, but the important question now, how does it sound ?? Lots more throaty than the normal carb air cleaners ??

Just a creative thought, you might gain a little bit less heat soak if you section off where the pod filters are.

Thanks ls_ss, I really can't comment on the sound because it was on the very first time I started the engine, and haven't really trie. Took notice, and I plan on blocking them sections

Oh and what intake manifold do you have? I'm trying to figure out whether that intake will fit my Motown intake manifold with the Accel throttle body all under the hood of an 84 TA.

Cosmik, that intake is a edelbrock ls1 intake, and the air intake should fit, your car is carb right?

It was :-) I have a Dart SHP 400 with the Accel EFI system now. The intake manifold is a Motown which is about as high as a Victor Jr. The throttle body is a bit shorter than a carb though. Which model is that Spectre intake?
