That is correct, these are non-Vortec, not L98, they use the old style bolt pattern.

Do what ericjon said.......a good tuneup might clear up a lot of the problems, next step would be to check your fuel pressure, make sure all your vacuum lines and such are in good shape.

No 305 ever came out stock with that much horsepower.
Best I recall is HOT ROD did a Camaro vs Mustang build up back in the early 80's, and they got a 305 over 400hp, with a Comp Cams 292 Magnum...

By definition problem, are you referring to the datastream definition file? I can't recall if I downloaded it from the TunerPro site or from Moates.......I will definitely look into that, though.

Just to make sure I am on the same page with you, dimented......at one point the only drawback to using the MAF code was that there was some conflict with using a 4L60-E transmission.
