Still looks exactly the same, there are some little plastic friction spots were the SEM came off .

If I would do it again I would replace as many plastics parts...

Headliner and sail panel fabric is soft, not vinyl, I ordered it from the Thecovergirl.
I sent her my sun visors to recover and she sent me the same headliner fabric (Tan#2127) for me to recover the...

the perforated vinyl I used is the same that's in the center of the ultima seats and comes from the same place as these seat covers.

I would go with hypereutetic pistons on a fuel injected engine, they are dimensionally more stable with the usual temperature variations. Forged only if using forced induction, Nitrous or a carb....

Schurkey is giving you some good tips.

I would not rush with ordering the parts, think it all true and then why not order a custom kit from cncmotorsports...

There is no space to work, door has to come off.

The pin on the bottom hinge is simple to remove, though the door has to come off for that one too....

If it originally had a carb, I would keep it carb.

TBI can support some decent power and will cost a lot less then the self learning EFI set-ups, though you will need to do some of the tuning...

I dont know about your 87 305, but generally heads, cam, exhaust and fueling is where you need to start spending $$$$ to make power.

Fuel pump, VRFPR, EBL flash, heated O2 sensor are the first...

The little breather on top of the axle is the Axle housing vent.

I started using rubber transmission pan gaskets on all my vehicles, makes servicing much cleaner and quicker....

You probably need something like this TBI to Sqaure Bore Carb Intake Adapter 1 2" 6061 Aluminum | eBay

A TPI fuel pump should be good for at least 400 fwhp with the big TBI injectors.

Sounds lika all you need is a screwdriver. And if it is still binding and you need a replacement, you will probably have to transfer the weights and springs to the new replacement.

Dont need a new one, can gently tap all around it with the back of a screwdriver by making sure the plunger moves freely.
