Oil pan hitting tie rod

As some of you may know I swapped a sbc 400 into my 89 rs. Well I used the same mounts that came off the last engine but for some reason the front of the oil pan is right on top of the tie rod cross...

The heads have aftermarket springs and retainers. The guides have been cut down for more lift. iirc the guy i got the heads from said the springs are generic "z28" springs so they should be good to...

Got the carb and intake on. Carb seems to work good besides leaking gas everywhere lol. Excuse the mess this is pretty much a mock up/trial run. I have a lot of cleaning and re-wiring to do.

Thanks for the help. Yes it is a low comp non-roller motor. I think I will go with the 1103 if i get some extra cash or I might just hold of until I get a better set of heads latter on.
