4160 base jeting for a 350?
Hello all I am getting ready to rebuild a holley 4160 for my 89 rs. The car currently has a qjet on it that seems to dump more gas on top of the motor then of in it lol. I bought a used 4160 (list #3367) and a rebuild kit for it. I plan to run it on a summit racing stage 1 intake. The motor in the car is a goodwrench 350 260/290hp backed by a thm350. The rear I think is a open 3.73 unit. My question is when should i start as far as jets and such go? I am new to tuning a holley but want to learn. the carb was originally for a 375hp 327 and it has #65 jets and a #85 power valve. Is this a good place to start? Any tips or things to look out for when i go to rebuild it?

Got the carb and intake on. Carb seems to work good besides leaking gas everywhere lol. Excuse the mess this is pretty much a mock up/trial run. I have a lot of cleaning and re-wiring to do.
