The MAP sensor wouldn't affect the fuel pressure, but it could cause the non-acceleration you mention. Do you have an aftermarket AFPR? Maybe the spring in it or the stock FPR spring or the black...

Try swapping the ECU. This happened to my 92 GTA and swapping the ECU did the trick. Not sure what failed internally, I was just glad the issue was gone.

Interesting, however, none of those are the right style for a 91/92 Firebird. The key I had for my old 91 GTA was the same style as the one for my 92 GTA so I'm 100% positive I still have the factory...

Thanks. Hopefully, a member with multiple 91/92 Firebirds/Trans Am can test and let me know if the key works on multiple cars, then hopefully I can just buy or borrow a used one.

Vinyl. I'm doing a combination of black Alcantara and black vinyl throughout my entire interior. I'm intentionally avoiding any real hide suede/leather that requires more maintainence.

Alcantara will last a lot longer than real hide suede tho, so worth it. I always spray mine with stain and moisture protectant (especially my steering wheel) and I have a proper suede brush for...

For me, t-tops are a must on a 3rd gen. Sub-frame connectors should also be added to all 3rd gens anyway, hardtop or t-top in my opinion.
