I would update this, but not sure how it would fall into since we started moving to alot of 1/8th mile events around here and less 1/4. Once we started going quicker then 5.50's we dont really ride...

Just for another reference point. I have a 584 bbc I put together with 385 bmf heads 14.1 comp and a cam with the same duration figures as yours but on a wider lsa (114) and looser lash but more lift...

You are very correct. With soft settings in the progressive to get it to hook those 10.5's it still went 1.33 to the 60 now that I have the delay gone.

I've used both the stroud pulls smoothly the Simpson jerks. This can unsettle the chassis. With all that you spent man I would go for the nice stroud. You have to be pay attention to weight and speed...

Mounting the cell up forward is perfectly legal as long as it in within the confines of the frame/body and out of the drivers compartment. I have a small 1 gallon cell mounted where the drivers side...

I mounted that exact same one right in front of the dome light overhead. Easy in the drivers seat to reach up and pull it forward.

I used the kit from malibudave here on the forums, it fit like a charm. I just bought his partial kit and used a 1 1/8th bore master for my four wheel four piston setup. Good setup and not costly.
