If you don't already have one get a chilton manual available at any parts store (better than haynes) get the car in the air on jack stands and find out what have fluid leaking out of it and where....

jack up the car and support the rear on jack stands, start the car and place in a gear( reverse,drive) and see if the drive shaft spins and not the tires or does the drive shaft not spin. This way...

I might be swapping the tbi to a carburetor on a friends 89 camaro rs. I t is an automatic.

I know I need a carb.,intake, HEI distributor with in cap coil, fuel line adapters for the factory...

where are you mounting the switch? cigarette lighter has a 12 volt source that most don't use if you mount the switch on the console.

Does anyone know how much HP the stock TBI in tank fuel pump will support.
I know it has lower pressure (13 or14 psi) the the TPI pump but I'm not sure how much it flows. I'm thinking 400-500 HP....
