Yikes, do you really have issue with the Hawks/SS works headers an the K memeber?

I have UMI RR k member and ls adapter plates. I also have the Hawks 2" SS Works Headers but i haven't installed...

Having done it both ways I do prefer coming out and back in from the bottom. Though it is a bit more work it felt a lot cleaner and less risky in many ways.

That said I also destroyed a brake...

OEM, brand new rubber mounts/bushings.

Motor mounts adapters are the UMI LS adapters.

Motor is adjusted as far forward as it will go, which was dictated by the hawks t56 trans-x-member.

i have the UMI roadrace k-member and an LS3 w/ pan # 12628771. There is boat loads of clearance between the pan and the K-member.

Please excuse the filthy car that i haven't touched in 3 years. :(...

Well ****, i know what i'm buying myself for christmas... the wife is gonna kill me.

FWIW i have hawks T56 xmember and alstons but i have not installed the alstons yet.

I had some more time to play with the wiring.

I updated the schematic again, this is more final. The last thing i'm not sure about hooking up is the C100-F8 - brn charging cable... I believe this...

John,

I just bought the Erod LS3 ECM/Controller kit. I bought a L92 and converted it to LS3 trim. Saved about $4000 maybe more? :burnout:

Oooooh so thats what those springs on my workbench were for... I have 4 of them aswell then... lol (suppose i should put that in my prop valve huh?:lmao::huh:)

Whats special about the 1LE prop valve vs the 4 disc brake prop valve?

I have a 1982-92 Camaro/Firebird Brake Proportioning Valve, Disc Rear i bought extra from hawks but didn't need.

my dads suburban 1500 had a 5.3 with 387,000 miles on it before he traded it in last week. Motor still ran strong and had a lot more life left in it.

unfortunately this confirms my suspicion that i will need to get off these stock rears sooner rather than later with the big front kit.

Our cars don't like the staggered much when it comes to handling. (still looks hawt tho.)

That should usually lead to front skids and under-steer.

Do you know what you changed to make the v6 tach work with v8? I bought a busted up cluster off ebay and it has a v6 tach i'd love to use in my car. (also other gauges i'm about to go crazy...

Definitely is! I've used a lot of your thread to figure out some of my pieces, right now i'm figuring out how to mate the E-Rod PNP kit to my car and what other sensors i have to "manually" wire to...

88 GTA WS6 4wdisc factory prop valve, and i have not filled the system and use the brakes yet, i'm still very much WIP :(

Right now i have 2010ss big brakes up front, and stock disc brakes on rear...

I put in the 4th gen master/booster on my car during the swap, because i heard of adjustability issues with the founders camber plates when you needed the space and that the 4th gen helped with this....
