Hood Clearance with New Engine

It's finally done. The L69 to L31 swap. There's a problem though: the hood wont close because of how tall the engine is. With the air cleaner on, there is about 3 more inches before the hood thinks...

I've looked underneath the passenger side dash. There is no ecu. And even worse, the harness looks like its been hacked out.
